Fighters of the #DHKC (Revolutionary People's Liberation Front) today took as hostage the Public Prosecutor, who leads the investigations of the murder of #Berkin_Elvan at 12.36 local time, in his office at the 6th floor of #Istanbul's Caglayan Court.

1- The policemen, who killed Berkin Elvan shall go in front of live-cameras and confess their crime.
2- The policemen shall be charged before a people's court.
3) All accusations against persons, who were faced with judicial inquiries, who were dismissed or arrested for taking part in actions for Berkin Elvan, shall be reversed.
4) After the limit of three hours, there shall be granted a secure withdrawal.

In a voice recording, which was published by the media, the DHKC fighters stated:.
"There's no justice. We said 'We will establish justice'. Exactly, we're going to establish justice. Until today there was no justice established by this system for the dozens of children of the people. Justice will come from the barrel of the guns. It will be established by the struggle of revolutionaries. We send our greetings to the families, who lost their children. Maybe today we will be martyred here for their cause and the cause of their children. We repeat 'We will create justice'.

Still there is big tension at the court of Caglayan:
It is not clear yet, how the situation is inside. But it is fact, that the governor of Istanbul shortly after the end of the ultimatum gave a statement, where he called Berkin Elan suddenly as 'our child' and that 'everyone was so sad about the happenings'. Of course, these words aren't credible, since today's president himself said publicly without remorse, that he gave personally the order to kill this child.

A delegation of new CHD leaders Gökmen Yesil, Sükriye Erden, as well as the president of the Turkish Bar Association Metin Feyzioglu, the head of Istanbul's Bar Association Ümit Kocasakal is recently present in the court.

A group of 20 persons is holding a sit-in in front of the courthouse.
Lawyers of People's Law Office say: They could negotiate about other issues, if the names of the suspect policemen, whose photos were published, are announced.
The DHKC fighters continue to insist, that the names of the murderers of Berkin Elvan are being revealed and that the murderers go before live channels to give a statement. If they don't do so, they would punish the Public Prosecutor. If the names of the murderers were revealed, there won't be any action against the prosecutor and he could leave the building together without being harmed.
