13-07--07 Jacob Frankel is appointed second Governor of the Corporatist Province of Israel on behalf of the international banking cartel...

Stanley Fischer with his newly minted Israeli ID in 2005, and Jacob Frankel -  First and Second Governors of the Province of Israel on behalf of the international banking cartel....

Occupy Tel Aviv, July 7 - Jacob Frankel was appointed governor of the Bank of Israel, at once the head of the State of Israel's national bank and its banking regulation. Prime Minister Netanyahu announced the last minute appointment concomitantly with the end of the tenure of Stanley Fischer, who is returning to the United States.

Fischer announced his resignation this January, two years before his second term was due to end. Petition, filed last December with the High Court of Justice of the State of Israel claimed that Fischer patronized criminality by Israeli banks, and that he exchanged his loyalty to the State of Israel and its law with loyalty to another nation (US) and its law, and/or loyalty to financial institutions and their interests. [1] In recent months, major Israeli financial corporations defaulted on their public debt.

Mr Frankel's appointment received mixed reviews in Israeli media, which noted that at the end of his previous tenure as Governor, he was asked to refund the State a considerable sum for not allowed expenses, which he had paid himself.

Media also noted that in recent years Mr Frankel was involved in questionable financial operations (JPMorgan, Merrill Lynch, AIG). In particular, during his tenure as Vice Chairman of AIG, the company collapsed. Frankel claims that he holds not responsibility in the matter...

Also of note is Mr Frankel's service with the International Monetary Fund, the Council on Foreign Affairs, and the Trilateral Commission.

During Mr Fischer's tenure, poverty levels in Israel doubled, while the economy was growing. More of the same, or worse, is expected under Frankel, while banksters' interests are likely to be well-served.

Given various measures of recent years, including the "privatization" of court records (to IBM? EDS? the State Ombudsman's 2010 report did not specify which of the two corporations), "privatization" of the State's electronic signatures (to ComSign, LTD) secret military installations built in Israel by the US military, and the appointment of both Fischer and Frankel as Governors of the Bank of Israel, the State of Israel today should be properly considered a corporatist province of the United States.

From Jacob Frankel's bio in Wikipedia, the propaganda organ:
Frenkel is currently the Chairman of JPMorgan Chase International, which executes the international strategy of the American financial services firm.[2] He also serves as Chairman and CEO of the Group of Thirty (G-30), which is a private, nonprofit, consultative group on international economic and monetary affairs.

13-07-06 Banksters getting off scot free - Jon Corzine andf MF Global

If past performance of the US courts is any indication, Jon Corzine will most likely get off scot free after the theft of $ 1 billion from customers' accounts. jzLINKS:

Determining Corzine’s Role in the Demise of MF Global

How much responsibility should a chief executive bear when the company collapses? That question will be front and center in the civil case leveled by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission against Jon S. Corzine for his role in the misuse of customer money at MF Global as it fell apart in October 2011.
The complaint, filed in Federal District Court in Manhattan, makes claims about Mr. Corzine’s management failures the heart of its case, pointing out the inadequacy of MF Global’s internal controls and how he violated its internal policies in trying to get the most out of customer money deposited with the firm. In the end, nearly $1 billion of client money was used improperly to plug gaps in the firm’s balance sheet as it tried to find enough assets to remain afloat.

13-07-06 US: Moving towards more corporate/government corruption...

The current Greater Depression, like its counterpart a century ago, is driven by government/corporate corruption.  Any attempt to address the situation would require corrective actions.  But as it looks today, the US is heading the other way - increased government/corporate corruption...  In short: it is unlikely that the current Depression would go away anytime soon. jz

Reining In the Regulators

For all its rabid partisanship, Congress has shown time and again that it is willing to come together to deregulate corporate America. The latest example is a new bill in the Senate that would effectively end the independence of independent regulatory agencies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the National Labor Relations Board.

Sabotage at the Election Commission

The Federal Election Commission is already in a state of wretched dysfunction, but it will only get worse if Republican members succeed in crippling the agency further when the commission meets on Thursday. The three Republicans on the commission appear ready to take advantage of a temporary vacancy on the three-member Democratic side to push through 3-to-2 votes for a wholesale retreat from existing regulations.
Under their proposals, agency workers would no longer be allowed to routinely forward information about potential criminal violations by campaigners to the Justice Department, and the commission’s staff investigators would be severely hobbled in conducting preliminary inquiries. This would provide further aid and comfort to politicians and operatives who run roughshod over campaign laws.

13-07-06 Forcing Down Evo Morales' Plane Was An Act Of Air Piracy

It is not only the gangsterism of the US gov, which ended up backfiring (because of the Morales incident, Venezuela and Nicaragua now offer Snowden asylum). What is most shocking is the desperation of US in view of a single individual fugitive. As if the security of the US depends on Snowden's arrest (he already made it public that the data is encrypted and stored in a way that it would be published even if he is killed).
It was the same situation with Assange: The UK government was ready, and made initial moves to storm the Ecuadorian embassy in London to get him. Only protest by the Organization of Latin American States stopped it...
The notion of being able to keep entirely secret a large-scale operation by the US government against the People, is of course delusional...

The forcing down of Bolivian President Evo Morales's plane -- denied airspace by France, Spain and Portugal, followed by his 14-hour confinement while Austrian officials demanded to "inspect" his aircraft for the "fugitive" Edward Snowden -- was an act of air piracy and state terrorism. It was a metaphor for the gangsterism that now rules the world and the cowardice and hypocrisy of bystanders who dare not speak its name.

13-07-06 FBI: Every time the FBI investigates itself, it discovers it’s innocent

And look who is the only source that was willing to speak out against FBI for the original NYT article - the most decorated FBI veteran alive - James Wedick. It is the same Wedick, who opined on corruption and fraud in the LA Superior Court, and on FBI's refusal to provide Equal Protection in Los Angeles County, California, against racketeering judges... jz
____
James J. Wedick, who spent 34 years at the bureau, said the F.B.I. should change its procedures for its own good.
“At the least, it is a perception issue, and over the years the bureau has had a deaf ear to it,” he said. “But if you have a shooting that has a few more complicated factors and an ethnic issue, the bureau’s image goes down the toilet if it doesn’t investigate itself properly.”

The Omnipotent: FBI Director Robert Mueller III - responsible more than anybody else for corruption of the US justice system.

Every time the FBI investigates itself, it discovers it’s innocent

by NEWS SOURCES on JUNE 19, 2013
The New York Times reports: After contradictory stories emerged about an F.B.I. agent’s killing last month of a Chechen man in Orlando, Fla., who was being questioned over ties to the Boston Marathon bombing suspects, the bureau reassured the public that it would clear up the murky episode.
“The F.B.I. takes very seriously any shooting incidents involving our agents, and as such we have an effective, time-tested process for addressing them internally,” a bureau spokesman said.
But if such internal investigations are time-tested, their outcomes are also predictable: from 1993 to early 2011, F.B.I. agents fatally shot about 70 “subjects” and wounded about 80 others — and every one of those episodes was deemed justified, according to interviews and internal F.B.I. records obtained by The New York Times through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.
The last two years have followed the same pattern: an F.B.I. spokesman said that since 2011, there had been no findings of improper intentional shootings.
In most of the shootings, the F.B.I.’s internal investigation was the only official inquiry. In the Orlando case, for example, there have been conflicting accounts about basic facts like whether the Chechen man, Ibragim Todashev, attacked an agent with a knife, was unarmed or was brandishing a metal pole. But Orlando homicide detectives are not independently investigating what happened. [Continue reading...]

Celebrating Independence at a Warrantless Checkpoint on the 4th

"I broke no laws whatsoever. All of this on a day that we are supposed to be celebrating freedom and liberty."

Freda Art
Activist Post

At a fourth-of-July DUI checkpoint in Murfreesboro,Tennessee, State Trooper AJ Ross angrily screamed orders and performed an illegal search on a well-informed innocent driver who filmed the encounter.

The 21-year-old driver refused to cooperate with lowering his window enough for Trooper Ross and Ross decided that he would have to pay for his noncompliance.

The citizen refused to consent to a search and could be heard repeatedly answered "Am I being detained?" when he was given a command. But the police were not taking no for an answer.

The driver describes the event on YouTube saying "Trooper AJ Ross orders me to pull over and get out of my car, bullies me around, gets the drug sniffing K-9, lies about me having 'Illegal drugs' in the car, searches without consent, and tells me that it is ok to take away my freedom."

After the drug dog handler spurs the dog to give a false signal (caught on camera), the troopers demand to search the car.

When the police find nothing in the car, Trooper Ross begins to grow nervous that he's violating the rights of someone who actually knows his rights.

"He's perfectly innocent and he knows his rights," Ross tells another officer while searching the car, "He knows what the Constitution says."

Then Ross discovers the camera that's been recording the entire time. Although the camera didn't it pick up, the driver alleges that Ross told him that his "Constitutional rights did not matter at checkpoints."

"I broke no laws whatsoever," the driver laments. "All of this on a day that we are supposed to be celebrating freedom and liberty."

Welcome to the state of liberty in America this Independence Day.
