13-10-29 ISRAEL: Author Max Blumenthal Offers Unfiltered View Into Israel's Commitment to Ethnic Supremacy



Most Israelis, who live inside the 1947 borders, are in denial, and media in Israel spare them detailed reporting on what takes place in Palestine.
Haaretz daily is a notable exception.  Yesterday, it reported recent secret memos of senior IDF officers, pertaining to Jewish on Arab violence incidents in the Palestinian territories. The memos also noted their relief that Israeli media did not report the same.  Many of the recent incidents in such memos involved burning, destruction of Palestinian olive groves, denying access to water sources, and vandalism against mosques and other property with hate graffiti.
The olive groves defined the traditional Palestinian landscape.  A recent Palestinian report claimed that during Israeli occupation (since 1967) 800,000 trees were destroyed.  The number initially appeared fabricated.  However, since a recent report in Haaretz described the destruction of 400 trees in one incident, the number may be real or close to reality... jz
